Salary: £25,217 to £26,715 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience.
This post is offered in conjunction between the Institute of Translation Medicine and the Mass Spectrometry and Instrumentation (MSI) group at the University of Liverpool. We are seeking a highly motivated analytical chemist with a strong background in Mass Spectrometry analysis. The individual will oversee a short-term project using Paper Spray ionisation for sampling and analysis of whole blood samples. You will be a team player and hands-on, pragmatic, people-orientated individual, with prior experience in a technical role. As part of this project you will be expected to liaise with clinical researchers and health care professionals at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

This fixed term post is available for a period of 7 months, on a part-time basis (4 days per week).
