Great opportunity for a confident and ambitious Scientist looking to transition into a Field Service Engineer role with an expanding field service team in the Cambridgeshire area. You will be responsible for the installation/service/maintenance and validation of both gas & liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry systems at customer sites covering Cambridgeshire and the region North of London, including commercial laboratories and universities.

To be suitable for this position, you will be a confident Scientist/Analyst with 2+ years analytical method development experience with both GCMS and LCMS. You will also be used to maintaining, troubleshooting and fixing GCMS systems. Applications are also invited from existing GCMS Field Service Engineers and skilled onsite instrument engineers. You must be willing to travel extensively - about 75% of your time. You will also have excellent communication skills and able to provide a high level of customer service.
