Biomacromolecular Structure SIG meeting 2027
Welcome to the event page for the BMSS Biomacromolecular Structure Special Interest Group (BioMS SIG) Meeting, taking place on 21st and 22nd January 2027 at the University of Manchester. The meeting will have an extra focus on the integration of in silico techniques with structural MS data.
We will be organising an exciting program over two days.
DAY 1 (21st) - Training day including talks from Erik Marklund and Lars Konermann focused on ‘Integrating structural MS data with molecular modelling’ SPACES LIMITED!
DAY 2 (22nd) – Structural MS symposium, talks, posters and networking. Keynotes by Lars Konermann, Erik Marklund and Rebecca Beveridge.

Call for Oral Presentations and Posters:
To be considered for an oral presentation or poster (ECR/ECS abstracts encouraged), please submit your abstract, stating which options you prefer by the 18th December 2026.

Early Career Scientist Participation
The BMS SIG is committed to welcoming Early Career Scientists to its meetings. Submission of abstracts from ECSs is particularly welcome. BMSS Student Members will be eligible for discounted registration covering both the training sessions and scientific meeting.

Qualifying BMSS members are eligible to apply to the Society’s John Beynon Travel and Conference fund for assistance. Click here for more information.
