The BMSS invites you to participate in the Annual Meeting 2026 Social Programme.
Tuesday 8th September 2026: Dai Games Symposium & Networking Supper (included in meeting registration):
The Society warmly welcomes all registered Meeting delegates and exhibitors to our buffet supper and networking event at 7.30 pm on the evening of Tuesday 8th September. Catering will be located in the exhibition and poster hall (Royal Armouries Hall) at the Royal Armouries.
Wednesday 9th September 2026: LGBTQ+ & Friends ‘Get-Together (ad hoc/pay as you go):
The BMSS LGBTQ+ Group welcomes colleagues and friends to join us for an hour's informal get-together (no pre-booking required) at 6.00 pm at a location to be confirmed.This event takes place immediately prior to the Pre-Dinner drinks and Conference Dinner (which is a pre-booked, ticketed event).
Please note that attendance at the Conference Dinner itself is via a pre-booked ticket.
Wednesday 9th September 2026: Conference Dinner (entry by pre-booked ticket at an additional charge):
The dinner will be held at 8.00 pm on the evening of Wednesday the 9th of September in New Dock Hall (adjacent to the Royal Armouries), with a pre-dinner drinks reception held in the War Rooms at 7.00 pm. Attendance at the Conference Dinner is an optional extra offered at the registration stage (i.e. involving an incremental pre-paid ticket charge of £60 (inc. VAT).
Note: An additional sticker on the delegate badge denotes a conference dinner booking. Your delegate badge will also act as your conference dinner ticket, so please remember to bring your badge with you to the dinner!
Dress Code: Smart casual
Specific Dietary Requirements: Colleagues requiring a more specific dietary option (including vegetarian) should indicate their preference on their meeting registration/dinner ticket purchase form.
