Abstract Submission 2026


Welcome to the BMSS2025 Abstract Submission Page.

There are two abstract submission silos at this year's BMSS Annual Meeting:

  • Main Sessions (Oral Presentations, Flash Presentations, In-Person Posters, and Digital-Only Posters) - DEADLINE 8th JUNE 2026
  • Partner Presentations (for submission from invited parties only) - DEADLINE 3rd AUGUST 2026

THE ABSTRACT DEADLINE FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS AND FLASH PRESENTATIONS IS NOT LIKELY TO BE EXTENDED AND SO PLEASE PLAN YOUR SUBMISSION TO THESE SESSIONS ACCORDINGLY.

 

Please click the links on the left of this webpage for a more detailed explanation of each abstract topic areas. You are able to select a primary and secondary topic area during the submission.

Criteria for abstract acceptance: The BMSS kindly reminds submitting authors that there is a limit of ONE abstract per PRESENTER. This means you cannot be designated as a presenting author on more than one abstract submission. Each attendee can be the presenting author on only one abstract (although an individual may be listed as a co-author on multiple abstracts). Presenters must also register for the meeting before the registration deadline.

Early Career Scientists submitting abstracts to the following Main Sessions are eligible for consideration for the corresponding prize and should indicate this when submitting their abstract.
