Latest on BMSS lecturer tour

In her capacity as BMSS Lecturer, Prof. Jane Thomas-Oates will be speaking at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Reading on November 4th.  Her talk is entitled: “Digging up our chemical past: mass spectrometric adventures in archaeology.”  Jane is the director of the Centre of Excellence in Mass Spectrometry at the University of York, where her research focuses upon biological mass spectrometry, including applications for biology, microbiology, archaeology, and the environment.  If interested in hosting a lecture by Jane at your institute (on one of the following themes: archaeological work, metabolomics, and glyco(proteo)mics), please click here to consult the BMSS Lecture series web page before notifying Dr. Mark Barrow (Education Officer; M.P.Barrow@warwick.ac.uk)
