Getting to Nottingham

Nottingham is right in the centre of the UK and is well connected to other major cities by train. Regular services operate between Nottingham and London St Pancras (from 1 hours 45 mins), Birmingham (1 hour 15 mins), Leeds (2 hours), Manchester (2 hours), or Sheffield (1 hour). Visit Nottinghamshire (the regions official website) provides all the information you will need to facilitate your visit: https://www.visit-nottinghamshire.co.uk/

The School of Chemistry (University Park Campus)

The Nottingham University Park campus is 2 miles from Nottingham train station, about a 40 min walk or a short journey by public transport.  A frequent tram service connects Nottingham train station to University Park. Alight the tram at either “Queens Medical Centre” or “The University of Nottingham” stops. Visitor parking is available in the main car park. Currently the rate is £ 10 per day. Please visit the University of Nottingham website for detailed travel information: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/about/visitorinformation/mapsanddirections/universityparkcampus.aspx
