Scientific Programme
Oral sessions at the York meeting are focussed on several areas
of mass spectrometry: Recent Developments; Inorganic MS/Speciation;
Biological and Clinical MS; Small Molecules and Interpretation;
Ion Mobility/TOF MS; Trace Analysis; Pharmaceutical MS. In addition
there is a session dedicated to the young generation of mass spectrometrists
and several key note and plenary addresses.
The meeting will kick off with the Maccoll Lecture which this year
will be given by
Professor Bonner Denton from the University of Arizona.
His talk is entitled
“New Technologies for Detecting Ions in Mass and Ion Mobility
Spectrometries"
The meeting will also host plenaries from Professor David Clemmer
(Indiana University) and Professor Graham Cooks (Purdue University)
